The Hub – University of Oregon

The Hub on Campus needed large doors to seamlessly connect their indoor and outdoor spaces. The doors had to reflect the fun, hip design aesthetic while also performing well in Oregon climates.

We designed and built two 11’0″ (3344 mm) wide by 9’3” (3145 mm) tall Tactile Oversized Pivot Doors with welded steel internal frames, precision-formed post-clear anodized aluminum cladding, laminated insulated glass and custom hardware. The door opening features ¼” (6 mm) knife-blade perimeter frame comprised of milled aluminum with a post clear-anodized aluminum.
